Dr. Corey P. Gallagher
Corey P. Gallagher, owner of Northwoods Veterinary Clinic, LLC, says his passion for veterinary science began when he started raising and breeding English Springer Spaniels and training them for field trials. His love for performance dogs is what drove him to become a veterinarian and is what continues to drive him to help owners, trainers and their athletes perform at the highest level. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Dr. Gallagher attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities for his undergraduate studies, earning a BS in Chemistry in 1997. After college he worked as a research and development chemist for a pharmaceutical company. Then in 2006, he entered Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine graduating Cum Laude four years later with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gallagher's areas of particular professional interest include small animal medicine and surgery, including orthopedic surgery. As a member of Christian Veterinary Mission he has been on several short-term vet mission trips to Nicaragua and Ghana, Africa. Other professional organization memberships include American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association as well as 2018 President of Northeastern Wisconsin Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gallagher is married to Kaethe and has two children: Liam and Norah. At home, the family has two English Springer Spaniels named Jack and Orla that Dr. Gallagher enjoys hunting with. He also enjoys spending time with his family, turkey hunting, fishing on the Bay, and being in the great outdoors.

Kaethe, Office Manager
I took on the role of Office Manager when my husband purchased Northwoods Veterinary Clinic in 2011. I love the fact that every day is something new here; I am constantly learning and I take every challenge head on. I love being part of the Northwoods team in keeping pets healthy and happy and in promoting and strengthening the human-animal bond.
I have always been an animal lover. I grew up in the countryside of Hudson, WI always with a Springer Spaniel and cat by my side. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing from University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire.
My husband’s careers and schooling has taken us to many different places including Ohio, upstate and northern New York, central and southern Iowa and St. Kitts, West Indies but I am enjoying being at home in Wisconsin and being involved in the community here.
I enjoy playing with my kids, being outside, biking, reading and spending time with my family. I am a member of the Wisconsin Veterinary Practice Manager's Association.

Becky, Certified Veterinary Technician
I joined the Northwoods Veterinary team in May 2013. I received my certification as a Veterinary Technician from Madison Area Technical College in May 2012. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in Animal Science. I have experience with small animals, large animals and even pocket pets; but still prefer dogs and cats. I have always had a passion for animals and wanted to choose a career that helped them in addition to educating owners on how to improve their pets' lives.
I am originally from the northwoods, Phillips, WI, and love small town life. My husband Jared and I live in Suring with our sons Jacob and Logan. We share our home with our 2 buff matching cats, Tanner and Penny, and our German Wirehaired Pointer, Trigger.

Jodi, Receptionist
I am very happy to be a part of the Northwoods Veterinary Clinic team. I grew up on a small hobby farm north of Suring. My grandparents were a very big influence in my life and introduced me to all kinds of animals on the farm and in nature. My grandfather was notorious for taking in strays and caring for all kinds of animals and he taught me how to as well. I grew up with all kinds of pets and I realize the significance that they have in our lives and how very important it is to take care of them.
I reside in Gillett with my husband, David. We have two sons: Eric and Mark, and one dog that brings much joy to our lives. She is a Goldendoodle named Sophie. I am very active in our community with church and school events and enjoy all that Gillett has to offer. I look forward to seeing you and your pets as you come to our office for all of your pet care needs.
